Update on My Finger Injury
Hello friends, this is an update concerning my finger, and I'd also like to share my latest song with you.
As I may have mentioned before, I had volunteered to play piano at the wedding for one of the girls on my music team. She was married Saturday, and one of the things that I was worried about when I had my accident is what she would do about music if I was unable to play.
But in an amazing act of mercy, God relieved much of the pain by Friday evening, just in time for the rehearsal! It was like God put a pause on the discomfort long enough for me to play. Yes, I had to avoid using that finger, and I played perhaps more simply than I normally would, but overall it went well and now this sweet couple are married, and I was blessed to be part of their day!
Today I feel a bit more pain than recently, but I'm looking forward to my appointment with the plastic surgeon tomorrow at hotel dieu hospital in Kingston.
Regarding music, I am not able to play guitar, and I'm limited in what I can accomplish, so I dusted off another old recording from the Gospel of John which I hadn't released yet. I spent some time editing and remastering it. I think it's acceptable.
There is no video to accompany it yet, but hopefully I'll have something to show you soon.
