It's Getting Harder
Here we are, a few weeks of #ThanksgivingJournal under my belt, and I'm finding it harder and harder.
What to thank God for today?
PAST: I thank God for the time in my life after I got out of full-time paid music ministry. I worked at McMaster University for a year as a web developer, and at Oxford Seminars for a year in the same type of role, and then for myself since 2009. Leaving the ministry was painful, but God started providing other opportunities for me to use my gifts, and has slowly built up my faith, passion, and even skills. Thank you Lord.
PRESENT: I thank God for this warm room. I'm even a little TOO hot. Winter is coming, so I am thankful that I have a warm retreat away from the cold!
FUTURE: I thank God that he will give me breath and live to serve Him and seek His glory into the coming weeks, months, and hopefully years!
