Thanksgiving Journal
Oh man, I'm frustrated with myself that I didn't make the time to journal yesterday. I got sidetracked with recording my next song, and kept putting it off until it was too late.
I've noticed that my #ThanksgivingJournal lists have been sort of thematic between past, present and future thanks, and I'm not sure if that's just convenience, laziness, or creativity! It came easily initially, but I recognize that it's going to get harder in the future, especially to not repeat things!
PAST: The first thing that comes to my mind is my children. I have four beautiful young adults who bless my life and fill me with joy. They are on their own journeys of faith, but I am thankful for each of them.
PRESENT: I am thankful for friends in my life. Last night I played a gig with Doug at the Loaf and Ale in Kingston, and we had a lot of fun making music and interacting with patrons. My friends Joss and Sandi were there too, and I'm thankful for each of them!
FUTURE: I am thankful for God's constant provision for me. By faith, I anticipate he will continue to provide all my needs, and many of my wants to!
