Raised Him From the Dead
Four days after Reformation Day, I’m reminded how incredible it is that God raised Jesus from the dead, defeating sin and death once and for all! It’s the final act—the crowning moment in humanity’s long struggle to know and please God.
Do you long to trust Him, know Him, and please Him? If so, you’re already being raised—because without His first move, we wouldn’t even have those desires! Our faith flows from the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. It’s all God, none of us—otherwise, we’d have something to brag about.
This is yet another reminder that God is the main character in history—not us. Everything we have comes from Him, even our faith and good works.
