Trusting God in Saskatchewan
This last week was especially full with our trip to Saskatchewan to visit Joanne's family. We didn't see the Zacharias' at all, which was unfortunate, but we enjoyed our time with other family. We went out to the farm to ride horses three of the seven days we were there, which was VERY cold, but fun anyway. I even rode a bit, and it was better than I thought it would be, though I don't think my horse wanted to listen to me. :-/
Father-in-law wouldn't take the $1500 dollars we had saved up to give to him for the airplane tickets. It must have been a very expensive trip for him!
Work has been almost non-existent for me. I don't know how we're going to get through this, except by faith. God, please keep providing, and help me to be a good, strong man. I am meeting for an interview with Mike Demmons at Sentry Security on Monday. It's a part time job, but maybe it will help to pay the bills.
I am trying to keep busy and fruitful today. I showered, sat at my desk, and am working hard. I don't even want to journal too long because I want to be effective and productive-- more than I have been recently.
God, you are my king, my saviour, my raison d'etre.
