Lyrics
Your Love must be sincere
Hate what is evil; cling to what is good
And loving family
Honouring one another above yourselves.
Do not lack in zeal
Keep your spiritual fervour
Serving the Lord.
Joyful in hope, and patient in affliction,
Faithful in prayer.
Share with God's people in need
Share with them: practice hospitality.
Bless those who persecute you
Bless and dont curse, rejoice
mourn with all in kind
Live in harmony
Don't be proud, but make friends with
With the lowly
Do not be wise in your own estimation
Don't be conceited
Instrumental
Do not repay anyone evil for evil
Be careful to do what is right
In the eyes of everyone
As far as it is possible,
Live at peace with all
Do not take revenge, my dear friends,
For vengeance is the Lord's
“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
If your enemy is thirsty, give him a drink
Doing this, will be like pouring fire on his head.”
If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
If your enemy is thirsty, give him a drink
Doing this, will be like pouring fire on his head.”
Do not be overcome by evil,
But overcome evil with good.
