Lyrics

Incline your ear, O Lord, and please answer me,
For I am poor and needy.
Preserve my life, for I am devoted, Lord;
Save your servant who trusts in you.
You are my God;

Be gracious, Lord to you I cry out all day.
Gladden the soul of your servant,
To you, to you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.
For you, O Lord, are good to me
And forgiving,

There is none like you among the gods, O Lord,
Nor are there any works like yours.
All the nations you have made shall bow to you
And they shall glorify your name.
For you are great and do wondrous things;
You alone are God.

You are full of love for all who call on you.
Give ear, O Lord, to my prayer;
Listen to my cry of supplication.
In the day of my trouble
I call on you.

Teach me your way, O Lord, I'll walk in your truth;
Give me an undivided heart.
I give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart,
And I will glorify your name
For ever.

There is none like you among the gods, O Lord,
Nor are there any works like yours.
All the nations you have made shall bow to you,
And they shall glorify your name.
For you are great and do wondrous things;
You alone are God.

How great is your true love towards me;
You have delivered my soul from Sheol.
O God, the insolent rise against me;
A band of ruffians seeks my life,
With no regard for you.

There is none like you among the gods, O Lord,
Nor are there any works like yours.
All the nations you have made shall bow to you,
And they shall glorify your name.
For you are great and do wondrous things;
You alone are God.

But you are my God, so merciful and gracious,
Slow to anger and abounding in strong love.
Turn to me, be gracious, give your servant strength, Lord;
Show a sign of favour, put enemies to shame.
