Sunny Days

by Jason Silver (played 6 times)

I am seeing through the rain,
Staring out my window pane
To the empty street below
Hear the wish of days gone by
See my pain and hear my cry
Feel the wind of winter blow

It's compelling; I'm foretelling
Better days
Mirror, mirror, make it clearer
Sunny days

Mr. Window you have eyes
Have you noticed brighter skies
Does your memory serve you well?
You've seen crying you've heard screams
Fear careers through broken dreams
Is this the story you would tell?

A fly is rattling in the glass,
As summer dies it breathes it's last
I wonder if it knows the end
Dry and cold and winter's here
Soon the bloom another year
Maybe then we'll make ammends.
