Free for the Rest of July

I've decided to give away all of my music for free until the end of July.

Why would I do that, you might ask?

I'm hoping that by sharing my songs for free, more people will be inclined to download and listen to them, and even tell their friends.

So if you've never given my music a chance, maybe this would be a good time to try a few songs?

If you like instrumental music, I recommend trying Moving On Again: Instrumental Improvisations, and if you like piano ballads, start with 12 Girlfriends or Sunny Days.

Don't Stop There - while you're at it, download Ghost Town, Seek, ChristmaSongs, If We Can, and Bottled Inside!

Spread the word!

Jason

Wrote a New Song - James

I think this song will be called "James," after my great grandfather James Abrams. He died when my grandfather Abrams was 2 years old. Shortly thereafter my grandfather's mom died as well.

So consequently I don't know anything at all about these people-- at least, very little. When I stare at their photos, I can't help feeling an eerie connection; I have his eyes, he looks a bit like my cousin.

I love you great grandfather, whoever you were.

James

One hundred years ago, Living in poverty
Your face stares like I know secrets long forgotten

But I do not; Only photos remain
We forgot And there's none left to blame

Your sorrow frozen in time, Hardly history,
Yet your eyes seem to cry, "Don't you remember me?"

We cannot. Only photos remain
What a loss What misfortunate shame

Chorus:
I strain to hear your call on the wind.
To read your thoughts, to picture your life back then
You wear my face, do you dream my dreams
I stand in your place, I don't know what it means;
No one remembers.

All that you never see; Sightless eyes now
Staring empty at me, locked in a frame now.
If I asked for advice What would you tell me?
A couple words would suffice, what can you foresee?

We forgot and there's none left to blame
What a loss. What misfortunate shame!
It's all gone, only photos remain...

Reflections

Too much depressing introspection, too often a sense that I'm letting life slip by without doing something with my gifts. I'm grasping for that point in life when I can say I that what I created was really important- that I expressed some intangible aspect perfectly.

Look at me, wondering, aching, seeking. Anybody out there relate?

Online Version Live

It's been a number of years since ServiceBuilder has seen any action, but now I'd like to announce that the live version is available to use for free, to anyone who can use it.

Technically, it's still in 'beta,' which means that nothing is guaranteed-- you might have trouble depending on your browser, your operating system, and God-forbid, you may even lose your data.

But it's been live for about a month, and the testers so far have not had any serious problems, so if you're interested, head on over.

Thanks!

New Look

I've finally got around to changing the site-- it's been a while since it was Christmas, but I was proudly displaying my Christmas CD to all my visitors.

I fell in love with the Clockwork Quartet, both their music and their web site... go check it out. This new look is nowhere as cool, but it is influenced by them somewhat.

I love the steam punk style-- I wish I could carry that off!

Thanks for being a faithful reader of this blog!

Sydenham Village Web Site

Last week I created a new web site for the little village I live in, called "SydenhamVillage.com. I've made it to be a central repository of as much information as I can find on Sydenham.

So that means we've got lots of neat stuff there like:

It sounds quite disparate-- so many different types of information, but the neat thing is that it's all organized in a logical, easy to find way. Rather than googling something about Sydenham, you're just as well off to go to SydenhamVillage.com and look yourself!

If you're in Sydenham, and you've got a blog, a web site, a Facebook profile, a twitter account, or something similar, I hope you consider mentioning this site so the search engines can find it.

Thanks!

New Site Up - VuBt.com

Hey everyone!

I've just completed work on a new web site, and was hoping you could help get things going.

It's called VuBt.com, and it gives you a chance to predict the future!

Registration is free and simple, and you get $100 free just for joining. BTW, View Bet is only for entertainment and fun.

We've made it so sponsors can win prizes like Walmart gift cards, so you might want to sign up as a sponsor too.

It's easy to place bets: just claim your money, click the picture on the side you think will win for any bet you're interested in, and wait for the fantasy $VB to roll into your own account if you're right!

Bets have odds so you can win lots of $VB or just a few $VB if you're right. We re-set the bet odds frequently for new betters, based on all available information.

New bets are set up daily, so keep checking back to see what's new.

You can even see "Insider Information" for each bet, including the latest Vegas Odds and news from Google and Yahoo. Don't place your bet until you check out that important information if you plan to do well in this game and win prizes.

You can not bet more than you have in the bank. We do not offer credit and won't give you more money if you go broke...unless...

If you want more money, become a sponsor of our site for $5 a month via Paypal and we will make sure you get $100 more View Bucks - $VB - deposited in your bank account each and every month if your balance is ZERO as long as your sponsorship is active. If you are not a sponsor you will never get any more money to bet with or have more fun on the site. It's our "tough love" policy because while the Internet may be "free" (we doubt it), creating this site and keeping it fun for all users is expensive.

So please go check out VuBt.Com right now and sign-up FREE to start fantasy betting!

Thanks! Have fun!
~Jason
