Education
Elementary
I attended elementary school in Sydenham, Ontario, north of Kingston. The school was called "Loughborough Public School." After passing
out of grade eight, I moved to the school across the street, "Sydenham High School."
High School
In highschool I really blossomed in my studies. I graduated grade 12 and 13 (Ontario had a grade 13 at that time-- I know, weird) with honours, and received numerous awards including the Kingston Arts Award, English Award, the Sydenham High Arts Award, Music Award, and was named an "Ontario Scholar" by the provincial government. I believe this was because I passed each year with full honours (grades above 80%).University
I applied to a couple of Universities, including Kingston's own Queen's University, where I was accepted into the music program. I decided instead to attend Bible College for a year as a sort of "break" from studies. While at Bible College I felt God's hand on my life to pursue vocational ministry.Four years later I graduated from Aldersgate College in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a 2 year certificate in Religious Studies. The Canadian government also awarded me the Governor General's Award and I completed my studies with a 4.0 grade-point-average. I was also pleased to be voted Class Valedictorian by my fellow students and received The Canadian Scholarship Grant three years, the Morely Wilson Music Scholarship, the Gerald and Naydene Davey Scholarship and the Canadian Education Commission Grant.
Though I have not returned to formal studies, I continue to love learning and seek to teach myself in various subjects, and to read as much as time will allow me to.
