Vacation At Last

Tomorrow, as close to 5 a.m. as possible, we’re piling into the van and heading for Saskatchewan. We’ll be gone a month.

We’ve got our tent-trailer all packed and ready, the van is decked out with comforts and entertainments of every kind— hopefully enough to occupy the minds of children for a 40 hour drive.

Our plan is to break the driving up into six-hour days, with one day being a 10 hour drive. I hope we survive without too much trauma… say a prayer on our behalf!

We’re wanting to log our journey, so be sure to stay in touch.

Handed in the Keys

Well, today was the official last day of work— though I haven’t been in the office much over the last month. I handed my keys to Lane.

It’s weird— I never would have predicted the course of events that have occured over the last year. But I’m SO GLAD it’s all over. I feel tremendously free. I’m going to seriously take a break from church for a while. I’m all churched-out.
