Wait for the Rain - from 1989!
Blast From the Past
Wait for the Rain was released on cassette (remember those?) back in 1989, and 500 copies were sold while Jason Silver toured with Aldersgate College's group, Celebration.
I recorded these songs using a Roland U20, sequencing the synth drums, and other keyboard sounds, then recording them with a four track reel-to-reel. I then added some acoustic/electric guitar (a friend named Aaron James played electric for me) and vocals (Shennan and Luanne Akins are singing parts on some of the tracks) before another friend, Torie Carlson mixed it down to a high quality cassette tape with ceramic rollers.
I believe the duplicating house did some minor mastering (which I didn't really hire them to do) to bring out some more bass. Bass is still light on these tracks, but it was my first real effort at recording an album.

I'm giving these old recordings away for free, just in case anyone wants a trip down "memory lane."
At some point I may try to remaster them -- there's hardly any bass and they sound shallow and flat.
